Shiny Antony Rauf

Right from 1991 when she began working as a healthcare professional (dental surgeon), many of Dr Shiny’s patients would bring in by-standers who were forced into the Science stream, medical entrance coaching and into meeting her to be “inspired” - but these by-standers had the least interest in pursuing the medical field. 

Even before getting certified as a career counselor, she guided them in following their passion and their field of interest. Today, these individuals are happily pursuing careers including microbiology, nursing, life coaching and fitness training in India and abroad. 

Dr Shiny is a qualified dentist and entrepreneur with 33 years of experience since completing her BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from Karnataka University, a certified fitness trainer and NLP Practitioner with 8 years of experience and has now formally begun career counseling as well. 

She has written over 100 articles on dentistry and fitness for health magazines, is often invited as a guest speaker and fitness consultant at colleges, medical centers and NCC camps; and has over 30 continued dental education certificates and diplomas since she believes in lifelong learning. Furthermore, she also supports special populations such as blind children, dementia patients and epileptic patients with their dental and fitness needs. 

With a strong sense of inner wisdom, she is adept at understanding students’ and parents’ career needs and interests, and combines this with her practical skills, decision-making skills and service-oriented people skills to make people comfortable while getting to know them and doing her best to support them.
